History	This is made by NRI's and started on 13 apr 2008 . Building is impressive , has lift, excellent rooms , great curtains and beds and just opposite the Darbar Sahib main gate so that one can just walk down for darshan anytime .

i think all yatris should be allowed to use this place.However,priority could be given to NRIs.It will show better occupancy and so better income.Besides lets not have a' class ' within our community which smacks at the very ethos of our religion where we propogatea classless society.

I called Mr Manji Singh to place a booking for a trip planned end January. His response was there is no facility for an advance booking. His advice was for me to come directly to the Serai and I will get a room. While, he sounded confident, I am doubtful - the serai should allow for an advance booking - maybe have a deposit sum to avoid irresponsible bookings
Dear Sir, I congratulate you on your venture. It is a remarkable feat for NRIs however if you have vacant rooms you can book for travellers on check in basis only. This would avoid vacant rooms and your venture would not seem its only for NRIs. Thanks Sameer yadav
